My Character Description

Born and raised in small-town Missouri, every day has always been a new adventure for me. Whether it be spending time with family and friends, exploring unknown lands, traveling through time, flying through the sky on a fire-breathing dragon, or dueling evil wizards in order to save humanity, every day is a new day to explore the world. You may be thinking that I could never have done those things in small-town Missouri, but your location does not restrict your imagination if you strive to let it go free. I was able to do all of that by exploring the world of literature and encouraging my own imagination.

At the University of Central Arkansas, I am pursuing an MFA degree. I aspire to finish my novel and share the great expanse of a mythical world that resides inside my mind. In the words of one of my favorite authors, Stephen King, “Books are uniquely portable magic.” One day, I hope to spread that magic to every child or adult who may pick up my book or a book I helped edit or publish. I believe that words make an impact on the world, and I want to live my life making a positive difference with my words.

Today I have slain a dragon, communicated with the lost gods, and befriended a creature thought to be a mythical beast. What will you do today?

My work includes various creative genres: creative writing, copywriting, and I dabble in other creative work. I have published works in the genres of fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry, copywriting features from previous internships, and a few graphics that I have made via Canva.
